seriously? doesn't it cost $ to enter? and only half of your entries made it to being judged? Could there have been so many beers entered that there were different stages of judging and 8 of yours didn't make it far enough to even get a score/scoring sheet?

Sounds frustrating

No...I received one of those terrible phone calls asking me where the remainder of my entires were at a day before the competition deadline. Kudos to the Mayfaire guys, they did everything they could...but they believe that my 'other' case of beer was accidently sent down to the NHC's in San Diego. And yes, I called AleSmith, they had my NHC entries, but not the Mayfaire entries. At least ALL of my NCH entries made it to the correct location. I just hope that somebody was able to drink them and they didn't get tossed in the trash!

Bah. Don't bother! Already fixed.

I can only put up there what I'm told!

I did! I entered last year with four beers after hearing about it on the show and took a gold for my Bitter. This year I entered Eight (I actually drove to L.A. and dropped off 16 stlyes to the drop off site...but only eight found there way to the judging tables  ?!?) and did a much better due largely to listening to the information on the show.

Cheers to the BN and all they do!

Thanks on behalf of the BN. We try. Your 6 out of 8 winning percentage indicates you're making some great beer. Sorry about your lost entries.

Uhmmm...How to answer this one,

No, I didn't put anything in cider.
I tried to make a delivery in cider.
I was cock-blocked at the Homebrew store.

And the list goes on.............

Hi Drew, I also took second in class 24 PECIALTY BEER - FRUIT/VEGETABLE AND HERB/SPICED and no BN listed as my club as on my entry form.

Can you make the adjustment. Gotta show my love for the BN.

Thanks!

Also, Congrats to all my fellow BN'rs who represented in the Mayfaire. This was my first comp and I only entered two beers so it feels really good to have placed. Brew Strong everyone!
