Honestly, the 2nd version of this was brewed using Simcoe and Citra hops, which are an experimental varietal. I got them at Rogue Issaquah when Ralph Olsen came to town. I think ths batch is head and shoulders above the other one. We hopped the fuck out of it after bumping up the malt profile without raising the gravity. Oh, well. I'll probably enter it into the Puget Sound Pro Am. There's not enoug time to get it properly carbed up for the NHC.
