I would have to greatly disagree with your ranking. New Belgium is an excellent brewery, and I can't think of any O'dells beer that I particularly care for except the 5 barrel pale. New Belgium's tour is pretty good too, but I think that it's mostly because of the brew house.

As much as I would love to attend I simply will not be able to this year – besides I would be traveling alone. Perhaps next year after I paint the house, interesting how some priorities make it ahead of beer and brewing. Have fun everyone and please bring back a great report.

BTW...how did that Duesseldorf Alt come out that you have bottled????

Thanks Daniela I am looking forward to the feedback. The Duesseldorf Alt is Jamil’s recipe and it is still conditioning – I tried a bottle the other night and it is tasty, I think it still needs a little time. I really am not sure if it is to style or not as I can only get one kind of Altbier and have only the Alaskan Amber to make a comparison with.
