Who is going to NHC/BNA 5?

At the risk of sounding stupid (it wouldn't be my first time), what the hell is the BN5? And more important, have I missed the boat on attending it when I'm at the NHC?

It's the BN Party the day before the NHC starts.

Thanks for the info! My two buddies who will be with me aren't BNer's. Can they attend?

There are only 9 tickets left (of the 200) for the early entry VIP tickets. If those are gone, you can still go but you get in later in afternoon.

I'll, of course, be there. I know BNA5 and the NHC will be flush with great beer but I was hoping to share some Janet's Brown with everyone but I can only ship so much. I'm looking for a "partner" brewer. That's where the one partner (not me) makes the beer, brings it, and I (the other partner) drink it. Why haven't I thought of this before?

Aweome. Count me in. I have brewing classic styles for the recipe. Can you send me the water you use? I tasted it at Russian River when I was out in Cali last year, so I have a general idea of what it should end up tasting like.

You are SO "counted in". The JBA you had at Russian River Brwing Co is the Imerial version that took the category 23 first last year. The "regular", and original, version appears in Brewing Classic Styles. I now make them both. Here's the recipe for the Imperial version: http://wiki.homebrewersassociation.org/JanetsBrownAle My water profile that it gives is the same for both versions (1.066 and 1.074).
