Start brewing, because we're doing a first annual competition..... category: Ale. Extra points for hoppiness.

Bring as much beer as you can, I have 20 gallons so far, can you beat that?

There is a lot of camping available nearby, especially at the Paonia Reservoir State Park. And anywhere on the farm, including in the hop row if you'd like.

The Rising Sun Homebrew Competition
Paonia, CO July 19, 2009

To keep things simple, we are hosting just one category:
“Hopped-up Ale”

Rules and Regulations:
Each brewer may enter up to 2 different brews per category. Brews must be done on a small-batch homebrew system (no commercial beers). Each entry must include 2 beers in 12oz unlabeled amber bottles.

Entries will be accepted the morning of Saturday, July 18th.

Extra samples and other styles of beer are strongly encouraged to be enjoyed and evaluated by all during other tasting events.

Today's the day. Got into Paonia, CO last night and realized this place is some kind of hippie mecca. Needless to say Justin would blend well here.
