Sorry for my absence for a while. I have been mega tied up with projects over the last 2 years.
Once again, I will be judging for the GABF, but that is not the important part. This year I finally had the time to commit to the Brewer's Association's meet a judge (I forgot the official title of the sessions) program. I have seen some of my brewing friends do this in the past and thought it was a wonderful idea to introduce persons to the world of professional beer judging, which is much different than one might think. If this might interest you, please be sure to sign up for one of the sessions, you most likely will come away with an appreciation of what it takes to judge in a competition of this caliber and standards.
