Place Awarded is noted on cover page for the score sheets ... it is not going to be announced on the NHC site until ~ May 4th.

weird I didn't think they were supposed to send them out...so everyone had the same amount of time to get ready for the second round....now you would have more time than me to rebrew something if you needed too....

Yeah, I wasn't expecting any feedback until May 4th ... At which time I would still have enough time to brew/ferment/carbonate at least 4 back to back batches before the final round deadline. With a slightly earlier notice, I guess I would have time to brew it 5 times ... although not sure why I would do that.

Hah, didn't even think of that. So used to the 2 bottle requirement.

I almost fucked myself into a corner for the comp. I have two very well known home brew shops in town. While on my way to deliver my entries to the shop that is twice as far away I realize I can cut my travel time in half. I go to the closer shop and ask if they are taking entries to not one, but two different employees. Both without a hesitation say "off course we do", and so I drop them off. At 4:30 pm on judging day I see two messages on my phone asking why non of my entries have arrived. A cluster fuck of phone calls later and the head judge volunteers to pick up not just mine, but several other entries also. Because of you I have two going to the second round. So a major thanks to all the judges out there doing your thing for all of us. And a "I don't know if I will be back" to my local shop that had beers with my name, address, and phone number on every god damn bottle that didn't call me to say "why do we have your beer here?".
