Well...let me start by saying that it was great to meet some of the BN guys....NHBrewer, TroubleBrewing (?), Vermont Brewer and others who's forum names I forget. While standing in the camping area who do we spot in the distance...Sully!..Cans..Cans...Cans....what a great guy...(what about the other douchebag brewcasters that stiffed us)
When I first arrived, I stepped out of the car, spotted a BN Army shirt and was almost immediately offered a homebrew....this was going to be a great event!
All of the stories that I have heard about the guys at Eb's are absolutely true...Chris and the rest went above and beyond at every opportunity to make everyone feel like family. And I will say that the beer cellar was 'A religious experience'...holy shit...amazing....I won't say what I saw, but I am still wiping the drool from my chin

I am not sure that there are words to describe the dinner...I have eaten in some of the best restraunts on the east coast and they do not compare to Paxton's creations. Bison tongue, Foie Gras, veal cheeks....unbelievable. Any of you that have worked food service can probably imagine what this type of event takes to prepare...and even with all of the activity Sean looked calm (on the outside) and found time to talk with the guests.
Day two....Friday...wow again....
Sitting outside, drinking a cantillion iris, and talking to the Brewers from De Ranke! Spent 14 hours yesterday....don't even want to think about the bar tab, but it was worth it. Met/Drank with the guys from Three Floyds and CBC Friday morning...the Heather beer was outstanding...not to mention the Dark Lord.
Oh well....see you all next year, and if any of the people responsible for the belgian festival are reading this...Thank You.
