Historical Beer Summit

Wed Jul 29, 2009 10:01 pm

Follow the lead of our President and have your own "Beer Summit". This could be the start something truely historical. Right up there with the the signing of The Decleration of Independence, or The Revolutionary War. This could be as profound as Lincoln freeing the slaves or women attaining the right to vote. And definitly right up there with the repeal of Prohabition. This could become a National Holiday...The Great American Beer Day. Every First Friday in August. Everybody gets paid double time.
What Beer would you serve at such a historical event?
It's a tough choice, there are so many great beers to choose from. Would you go all American or be more diplomatic and choose beer from different continents?
Enjoy Great Beer!

in the other thread, someone mentioned collaboration not litigation....great choice for such a monumental event. I would also choose something that intertwines beer styles....sort of like a representation of two or more cultures and beliefs.

You'd probably want a double stout though... Just sayin.

Why does it have to be black? Why can't it be a burnt umber and Tan? :P
