Well... you should factor some type of depreciation for your equipment upgrades, unless you'll throw that shit out this year. With that, I bet you'll demolish that 29%....

Even w/ all of my equipment upgrades (some of them budget, some of them not so much)... I figured roughly on average that between grain/hops/water/yeast/propane ... a batch costs me 48-49$ (and that's on the high side). I get about 4.5 gallons of finished beer, or right on the money with 48 12oz bottles. A buck of beer for material cost per beer really is chump change IMO.... Screw the other 12-15 C-notes that goes to all the other fun shit like kegs/temp control/etc.
