Homebrew Club Logo Design Contest

Fri Feb 06, 2009 5:55 am

Hey,
Our Homebrew Club in Boston is having a logo design contest for our 25th anniversary. The club is the Wort Processors and the logo is a carboy on a word processor (not exactly timeless). So we need a new logo and there is a prize for the winner.

The information is located here.

My feeling is the logo should be cool enough that I would at least consider getting a tattoo of and doesn't remind me of the old logo at all.
I know there are a lot of talented people on this forum and wanted to tap this resource. heck maybe you have some old bottle label design you made that you can alter a bit.

This would be easier if you changed your name....

Don't worry about the name. We usually go by "The Worts". So let any ideas flow. THe design doesn't need to have the name on it.
PS We are thinking of changing the name but a new logo was hard enough to get by the old guard, we need to wait a few years for the name change
