in town June 19th-28th, weekends in SanFran, week in Sacrame

I'm coming to the west coast in June. I'll probably fly in the 19th, stay the weekend in San Francisco, then spend the week in Sacramento (doing some training), then the following weekend back in San Francisco.

What should I get to while there?

My list so far:
Russian River
21st Amendment
Drake's

And of course I'd love to visit the BN if they are having guests during that time. Can you tell that my list of places to visit is based solely on hearing them talk about brewpubs or breweries on the shows? My daytimes on the weekdays that week are full, but my evenings are free, as well as freedom on those weekends before and after.

What should I not miss?

While in Sacramento, you will want to have a beer or two at Rubicon, downtown Sac. Sacramento Brewing, besides their 8-12 house beers they just installed 12 guest taps. An hour a way Jack Russel brewing is great for a picnic but they close 6 or 7 later on Friday. Talk to me at NHC and we will see if we can share a beer or two in Sac.

I've never entered a competition before, so I figured what the heck, NHC might be fun.

So far I've bottled up the last of a fantastic nut brown, some schwarzbier, cream ale, and as soon as my next batch of bottles is sterile, some bohemian pilsner. I've got smoked porter aging, and mead as well (but I think that will need a lot longer).

I've got till march, so I may try and put some ales through the system.

If I get the okay to take the extra days, I'll be sure to check in for meetups.

While you're in Sacramento, you might want to try Sacramento Brewing Company. They've recently reworked things to add a bunch of guest taps in addition to their own beers. They've got a pretty nice selection of West Coast beers.
