Beers at Oskar Blues

I dropped in at the Oskar Blues Brewery and Restaraunt in Lyons, CO yesterday for a couple of beers. It's a really funky place infested with old hippies like me. I loved the place!
I've had their Old Chub Scottish Ale before, so I skipped that one. It is a quite nice example of the style. The only other beer of theirs on tap was their Dale's Pale Ale. This is a very good APA. Great flavor, held a head nicely, great "C" hop flavor without being overpowering. It was lacking in any hop aroma, but may have been due to being served too cold. Excellent beer, but not outstanding. I would give it an A- for a grade.
The other beer I tried there was the Bitch Creek ESB from the Grand Teton Brewing Company up in Jackson Hole Wyoming. This was an incredible American Brown Ale. Sort of an Americanized ESB with Chinook and Centenial hops. This had a really nice roasty flavor to it like it had some chocolate malt or roasted barley though it had neither. Now, on to the Pumphouse and Left Hand breweries in Longmont this afternoon and Avery and Walnut Brewing in Boulder this evening.
