Mad River Double IPA

Tue Nov 07, 2006 8:12 pm

12 twist cap bottle. Pours out cloudy amber with sparse white head, lace down the glass. Ample aroma, and upfront sweetness with balancing hop bitterness. You can taste the slight grapefruit of Amarillo with nice bitter background. This was recently just released and will be a contender. No match for Pliny the Younger but a great brew in its own right. abv 8.6% IBU=85
