750 ml. brown bottle. Corked & caged. 2003 seen on the cork. Highly carbonated, because the cork nearly shot out of the bottle as I opened it. Poured a cloudy orange color, with major chill haze. Frothy white head never did subside. I had to spoon it out just so I could smell it. Peppery aroma right off the bat. Typical funky Belgian yeast smell to it as well. Kind of horsey actually. Not quite as bad as a lambic, but not far off, either. Not much in the hops department. Aroma or taste wise. Malt & lactic wheat tastes to this (apparently) popular Belgian. Thin mouthfeel, highly carbonated, almost too much so. Has a phenolic character to it as well. Not my favorite Belgian, but then again, not too awful bad.
