11.2 oz brown bottle. No freshness date seen. But, then again none needed at almost 10% ABV. Poured out a dark saddle tan color, almost a brown. No head to speak of, but it did leave a lacing around the rim of the glass. Aromas are of sweet malts, yeast, and dried fruits. Extremely smooth & creamy mouthfeel to it, even though it has such a high alcohol content. Finishes smooth & even. Rich mouthfeel to it, almost chewy in texture. Slight roasted oatmeal aroma to it as it warms up. Warming to the old stomach too. Would make an excellent nightcap. Actually, it did make an excellent nightcap.
