12 oz. green champagne split bottle. Front label says 12 oz., and the back label says 1 pint 9.4 fl. oz. I guess they screwed up, and put the wrong label on the back of the bottle. Mine has the naked lady on the front label. Corked and crowned, with a black foil overwrap. Subtle pop when cork was pulled out of it. 2004 date on the cork. Poured out a bright orangish color, with pink tinge to it. Aromas are of vinegar, classic Brettanomyces horse blanket aromas to it, along with the requisite Belgian funk. Sour doesn’t begin to describe this beers’ aromas or flavors. If you got the most sour lime you could find, and stuck it in citric acid, you still wouldn’t be close to how sour this beer is. Tastes are of classic lambic, sour, woody, slightly oakey, funky, damp basement, sour lemons, and Belgian funk. Thin mouthfeel, prickly carbonation that dances on your tongue. The sourness grows on you, albeit very slowly. This is definitely a one of beer. I sincerely doubt anyone could drink more than one of these. I had to put a teaspoon of sugar in it just to be able to finish it. When I did, it released more Belgian funk aromas than any beer I’ve ever had. Whew! This beer actually stinks! Smells like a horse’s ass, if you ask me. Finishes sour, and woody. I’m glad I tried it once, but I won’t be drinking any more of it. Just too sour for my liking.

I bought this in 2008 and the cork said bottled in 2005. I thought something was wrong with it because it smells like vinegar but after I read your post I guess that is what is suppost to taste like. I like it but i cant justify the ten dollars a bottle to continue drinking this beer to see if it grows on me, but I like it.

This, their Foufounne, Flying Dog's Saison, Rodger's Angry IPA and Westvlettern 10 make up my top 5 beer experiences.

And I wasn't even in college.
