Bells Best Brown Ale

Mon Jun 20, 2005 6:57 am

12 oz. brown, longneck bottle. No freshness date seen anywhere. Poured out a hazy, murky light brown color, with a minimal white, soapy head. Overcarbonated by quite a bit. Aromas are of Cara-Munich malts, along with sweet caramel as well. Hop aromas are subdued, as are the hop flavors. Flavors are well balanced, nothing stands out above anything else. Balanced aftertaste, not bitter at all. A decent brown ale, but too carbonated for my liking.
