Belhaven Scottish Ale

12 oz. brown, longneck bottle. No freshness date seen anywhere. Poured out a murky, slightly chill hazed brown color, with a minimal light brown head. It was a sticky head, however. It left a decent lacing down the sides of my pint glass. Aromas are of sweet malts, and that’s about it. No hops aromas, no smokiness, no nothing. Tastes are rather plain, with malts being the dominate flavor. No hops bitterness either. Thin mouthfeel, and minimal aftertaste. Good enough to try once, but not good enough to buy again.
