Ace Pear Cider

Mon Jun 20, 2005 2:16 am

12 oz. brown, longneck bottle. No freshness date seen. My first commercial cider. Let's see here... Poured out a very clear, very light yellow color. Thin white foam for a head. Medium carbonation. Not too much, not too little.Aromas are of apple juice, fresh summer melons, a touch of bubble gum, and an oakey quality as well. Tastes really good too, I'm surprised. Tastes like regular pear juice, but has just enough alcohol to give your head that little tingle. Not too sweet either. Finished kind of semi-dry. Not bad for my first cider.
