Abbaye des Rocs Blanche des Honnelles

330 cl brown, longneck bottle. No freshness date seen anywhere. Why don’t they date these beers, so we know if we’re getting a fresh one or not? Is there that much involved in doing so? Anyway, it poured out a medium horsepiss color, with a fast fading white head. It did leave a minimal covering of lacing on top of the beer, however. Aromas are of lactic wheat malts, slight Brettanomyces character as well. Tastes are definitely of Brettanomyces cultures, along with a sour note as well. No hops in aromas or flavors. Medium mouthfeel, nothing special there. Drinkability is ok, but the sourness would limit me to two of these, maximum. Decent, drinkable, but nothing to write home about.
