Struiselensis - wild belgian ale

Sun Mar 30, 2008 2:04 pm

Had to pick this up with Pannepot.

Pours very, very clear straw/yellow color. Fluffy white head, sounds like champagne coming out of the bottle. Nice lacing, head stays about half and inch the hole time drinking.

Aroma has the typical horsey/barn character for sour ales. Some breadiness, and fruity esters.

Taste dry and balanced. Very clean, with a slight sour finish. Very refreshing. Leaves you wanting more....

Damn, I should have gotten another bottle.

Them Struise brothers sure know how to brew!
