Clancys Amber

Sun Jun 26, 2005 1:42 pm

Another in the line of craft beers from Moosehead. Pours out a pale amber color, more redish than orange. Rocky, dense head that slowly fades to a sticky lace along the sides. Came to me in a 12 oz. bottle. Plenty of malts in this beer, almost making it a vienna rather than an amber ale. Tastes of spiced fruits, and hazelnuts. Weird combination, but it works. Very hard to find outside of Canada.
