12 oz. green, longneck bottle. Freshness date of 06/2005 seen on back label. Poured out a deep amber color, with a minimal white head that faded fasted than a cheap pair of blue jeans. Aromas are of malts, slight yeastiness, and dry biscuits. Sweet caramels waft up gently to your nose. Tastes are of sweet caramel malts, some biscuit notes, and an earthy hoppiness. Hops are subdued in both aromas and flavors. Mouthfeel in on the thin side, kind of leaves you wanting something more from it. Finishes somewhat sweet and slightly earthy as well. An OK Octoberfest beer at best.
