So I've been leaning toward darker ales in general but like to throw in a lighter one here and there just for good measure. I've already done a Blonde and a Belgian Wit which both turned out quite nice. What should I do next? note: i can't do lagers yet

I'm partial to a nice ESB.

Belgian pale ale, or a Saison.

I've become partial to cream ales. Ferment on the low end with US 56 and you'll end up with a beer that tastes quite a bit like a lager.
