Ozwald, maybe you should brew up 50 gallons of it so 3 gallons are still available at week 8...

So sounds like my batch is pretty typical then. I typically dont get a lot of haze in my beers, even the double ipas. Is this some sort of reaction between the hops and the darker malts?

I was thinking along the same lines.
perhaps the mash hop does something to it, too?

I don't think it's the mash hop. Tasty's APA has a mash addition and that one always comes out clear for me.

My vote is still on the fact that it's so damn Tasty (queue up the Tasty, Tasty theme song) that most folks just don't give it time to clear up. Especially the first time you brew it since we're constantly bombarded with yep, yep, yep, yep. It's got a ridiculous amount of hops in it & is going to take extra long to drop out. As I said before, I can never wait that long & it's still so delicious regardless of clarity.

I would imagine that wasn't too cloudy when it was fresh, doesn't Vinnie have a centrifuge? Even if he doesn't, he definitely has some toys that we don't.

Out of curiosity, how was it compared to a fresh bottle? What kind of differences did it have? Please use Erney-terms :D Was there a lemon zestiness to it?
