pumpkin wit?

how does a pumpkin wit sound? a touch of honey and maybe some ginger and coriander?

Could be interesting. Maybe darken it a tad towards light amber to achieve the "pumpkin" effect a bit better.

Could be good. Make sure you don't overdo the spices. You won't get much honey flavor from the honey, mostly it will contribute to making a drier beer. Some honey malt will give you the desired effect without thinning out the body.

I would think in addition to some honey malt, that maybe a bit of munich would also help to boost the toastiness and darken the color a bit. Maybe along the lines of 1 pound or so. A small addition of cinammon as a secret ingredient towards knockout might enhance the pumpkin flavor/aroma as well.
