Just brewed my second all-grain batch, Jamil's Wittbrew from BCS. Had my fist stuck mash despite adding a whole pound of rice hulls. Nothing a little Mash Tun blow-job couldn't fix, but I was still suprised since I doubled the recomended rice hull (per the suggestion of my LHBS) any thoughts on this?
Also, according to the recipe my OG should have been 1.050 but I ended up with 1.043. What will this do to the final beer (lighter body, drier, etc)?
Anything you can do after boiling to bump OG one way or the other? Add some DME?
