Tasty, I saw your footer... you're fermenting FW Union Jack????????

I have done one attempt at this, still working the recipe. Care to share? Or is it coming up on a CYBI show soon?
Mine was too smooth! I need more "C" flavor. The Amarillo and Simcoe gave it a nice smooth finish for 72 IBU!

BTW my DBA clone from your show was very nice! I used Glacier in lieu of Styrian, but will make that change and do it again, in a much larger batch!!

That ferment is for Can You Brew It. The show will "air" on June 4th. We'll also be doing Firestone Walker Pale 31 (Chad is brewing this one) and Firestone Walker Walker's Reserve (JP is brewing this one) as well as covering the re-brew of the Double Barrel. If you listen live you'll get the recipes, otherwise you'll have to wait until the shows come up for podcast.

About a year ago I sent in a request for Union Jack.

I swear I'm so worked up for this show I just might finish.

Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!! All I can say, is you better clone the Union Jack! Or I will be very dissapointed!
It is my favorite IPA... so far.

On their #13 anniversary blend they list a Double - Double Barrel Ale with OG=24P !
How about coaxing that one out of little Matt B. ?? I think you can take him Tasty!!

I can only guess... add more grain... and mash "long and hard" !!

Did anyone catch the recipe used in CYBI? Or what the brewer had to say about his Union Jack recipe?
