weihenstephaner vitus recipe? anyone got one?

this is a great beer. it's like aventinus had a blonde twin or something. anyway, has anyone come up with a recipe for a helles-weizenbock?

off the top of my head i would probably use 50 percent wheat, 30 percent pils, 17 percent light munich, 3 percent melanoidin... that ends up with an srm around 8. sounds reasonable.

i'd aim for the 1070 range for og. hops, well, just some hallertauer at 60, maybe 18 ibu.

i'd do an acid rest and then mash at 154... ferment at 62 with 3068.

i have a pretty solid aventinus-style weizenbock recipe that i sort of adjusted for this one. just took out the darker grains to get the color down. although, it could stand to have some light caramunich in there, maybe. replace 3 percent of the munch with it...

Hey sorry to change the subject, but do you have a good clone recipe for the Aventinus? I've been wanting to replicate it for a while now. I've never had the Vitus, but I'll be looking for it based on your description.

Thanks,

James
