Was hoping someone could give me a date of when I could hope to expect the Sam Adams Longshot beers to start shipping.

Dying for some TastyMcD Pliny w/NB kicker. Close as I will get here in New England to the real thing.

The Longshot six-pack will be out in April. Why wait? With some creative hop substitutions, Pliny is a pretty straightforward beer to homebrew.

From what I hear the longshot six pack isn't distributed in my area which I don't understand at all! Nonetheless, I'll be scouring all the retail outlets in April in hopes of getting lucky. It would be really interesting to taste Boston Brewery's rendition of this beer!

BTW, for those wishing to brew this, the two hops that seem to be really hard to find right now (especially in pellet form) are Warrior and Simcoe. But this guy has them: http://craftbrewer.com.au/ and you don't have to pay $5/oz. Shipping is a couple bucks extra but still not bad. I've been really impressed with the quality of his hops so far.

Got a batch in the fermenter right now!

Can't speak to the Warrior but I found plenty of Simcoe at MoreBeer last week.

All times are UTC - 8 hours
