I am thinking of brewing this style but need a recipe. I looked at the one in Brewing Classic styles but it is at the high end of the gravity scale for the style, 1.070. I would like something a little smaller. Anyone have a proven recipe they would like to share?

You could always just scale back the one in BCS. Just make sure your BU:GU stays the same.

What Danny said. Also, make sure you give this at least a month to lager after kegging. It will improve dramatically if you are patient enough to let this age a little. I have a Maibock that I brewed in July that is just now reaching hitting its sweet spot.

Ah, yes I should have thought of that. Thank you.

Yeah, I have a ton of beer right now so I thought I would do a couple of lagers since I am stocked up. That way I won't get tempted to tap them too early.
