Puget Sound Pro-Am BOS

just an update....

I guess im a little off. on my recipe. i ended up about 4 points low on the OG. Laura was watching the boil and she didnt have the boil at the point it needed to be i dont think. Also we are running about 2F cooler than you did. I guess we can discuss the differences. Everything else ended up just fine. We shall see how long it takes to ferment out. Are you going to rebrew it anytime soon?

Congrats on the BOS, I was lucky enough to get 4th (HM) with a Rauchbier.
Was this picked for the GABF competition?

This beer was not picked for the Pro-Am but a Strong Belgian Golden that I brewed was. I wasn't at the
Puget Sound Pro-Am, but the brewer I brewed with said that your was heavily considered by a couple brewers to brew
but they wanted the Am to be there to brew with. I assume it was yours anyway, he said it was a Rauchbier and
yours was the only Rauchbier I saw in the comp, he said it was an awsome beer congrats.

Thanks for letting me know about that. You don't know what breweries were interested by chance?

I don't, it was just a passing conversation with the brewer about all the different types of beers that were picked.
