It's going to take several attempts so I wouldn't look for anything from us real soon.

I was wondering when my CYBI suggestion was going to be picked up... Thanks, Tasty!

definitely looking forward to hear if this one gets cloned or not. Have tried it twice before and came kinda close but was missing that special something. Oh yeah, a professional system!

JZ / Tasty- I told you Stone were bastards- they don't even let you sniff the kimono let alone part it slightly. I have been following threads for this recipe for years. I only got close once to brewing it. I will sit in awe while you guys give it your best shot. Mitch is such a baby…. Could you see Calagione acting this way?

I, personally, think there is a huge difference between a brewer coming on the Session and talking openly about their brewing techniques, and a brewer essentially publishing all the details about their flagship beer. Comradarie is cool in this industry, but I am surprized that the CYBI team hasn't seen more pushback when they ask for specifics. I don't hold it against Mitch. Sully is pretty tight-lipped about his WMW, too.

+1
And there have been others who have refused, either because they didn't have corporate permission, or thought we should learn what the ingredients do ourselves. I can't blame them and don't mind at all when they refuse.

Mitch Steele is one the most stand-up guys in the business and a HUGE fan of the Brewing Network. He would have loved to have given us the recipe but his company's policy is not to. We totally understand that. That's their choice and a good one for them.

We're taking the Arrogant Bastard challenge because we feel that we don't want to be limited to just beers where they will give us the recipe. We bring a little more to the table than just good brewing skills.
