I wouldn't be so sure about that RAW barley in the recipe. Are you sure it's not malted?

Should probably say 6 ROW instead of Raw.
At least, that's my guess.

I probably wouldn't hop it with Cascade either. Willamette, maybe, or probably bitter it with Galena.

Well, you have only offered criticism of the man's beer choice instead of helpful advice. What would you call it? I only assume The Brewing Network was created to be a resource for all brewers, no matter where their tastes lie as long as its in the brewing field. If I'm wrong, I'll gladly take my only two posts and leave.

Sadly, I agree with you.

Like all hobbyists, we home brewers tend to look down our noses at the folks who like Coors Light, Budweiser, or any of the macros. Wine enthusiasts look down at box wine drinkers, gourmands look down on fast food, Texas BBQ fans look down on other regional BBQ styles, Mac users look down on Windows users, and UT fans look down on A&M fans. It's pervades every facet of our lives. We all like to the think we drink or eat or like the best thing, and think that people who don't like what we like are somehow less intelligent. It's very easy to take or appreciation of the variety and complexity of beer and turn it into snobbery.

And I hope you don't follow sports. It's even worse in sports.
