Send Plise a PM, his ESB went to the second round of the NHC this year.

Extract I can help you. AG I can't

My Extract recipe is as follows

12oz Crystal 40L
7lb (2 Cans) John Bull Maris Otter Extract (I use this for the quality of the malt profile instead of plain light)
.6 oz light Dry Malt Extract
OG 1.054
2oz 5% AA EKG Bittering (60 min)
1oz 5%AA EKG Aroma (knockout)
1 tsp Irish Moss (15 min)

WLP 002 or Wyeast 1968
(They are the Same Strain Both come from the Fuller's Brewery)

I am brewing this right now. It is in my primary.

You could use US goldings or other things. You could even try with Fuggles.

You just need to have an IBU range of 38-44 ballpark.

EKG's are expensive and I paid a pretty penny for mine. $6.29 an ounce!!!

WLP002, oh the possibilities........ There are the bitters. A nice mild, A Red Ale, Maybe an English IPA with a hop experiment.
My red ale is always popular around the house, day in and day out, it is a beer I always have on hand and its not a hop hog.
