I don't think it's mash temp . More like starting gravity . I believe ( could be wrong ) but OG should be 1.054. That would account for higher final gravity as well.

I brewed this up a few weeks ago and it' been on the gas for about 4 days now.
This is the best APA I've ever had! I followed the recipe to a T and it's outstanding!
