I should make better use of smileys. Sorry for the confusion.

Yeast selection is everything in Belgian styles. I might have well said hops don't matter in ipas. I've long considered a run of beers where I brew the same recipe a few times and only change Belgian yeast strains, and maybe basemalt amount for variety.
