I brewed this beer for this year's Big Brew exactly as the original recipe. It is now sitting on 2 oz. of summit for dry-hopping. It will be two weeks on Saturday. The original recipe says to dry-hop for 3 weeks. Not sure if I'll make it that long... It is a very pretty beer with an awesome aroma.
Primary: Surley Bender
2ndary: ESB and Black Forest Stout (which has formed a pellicle, guess I'll ride it out)
On Tap:
Evin Twin
Belgian Stout
In Bottles:
Tasty's APA
Black IPA
Bourbon Barrel Aged RIS
S. English Brown

FYI, this came out nice, great hop flavor and amazing aroma, but very little bittering.
Sad to say a slow infection got to it after one case was consumed. But it was nice while it lasted. Had to pur the lastcase down the drain.
All the flavor/aroma was sweet citrussy kind, not grapfruity at all and none of the onion/garlic accents some people have reported.
I will probably do the same recipe again, but wil opt to add about an ounce of bittering at 60 minutes.
But it was a great experiment to see what happens when you cram 6 oz of hops in the last 20 minutes of the boil.
Cheers.

cool, I like to know what you think. Hoefully you will get the same tangarine notes I got.
Good luck.
