Anyone used Sorachi Ace hops. I picked up 6 ounces and am hunting on what to use it on. It has a nice alpha level, 14 Alpha

Have you listened to the most recent session? Jason from Lodi brewing has some good information regarding this hop. Apparently it has a smooth bittering quality, is restrained in it's aroma but when pushed gives off a lemony character. Never used them though.

Im still two podcasts behind. I look forward to that one. Yea I know these are the hops that were used by Soporro. I think I will use them in a light lager. I was contemplating a Pilsner too.

It might also be fun to use this in a wheat beer to give it a light lemony flavor.

I used it once in an APA for bittering.
It was a nice hop and i would agree on the lemony. I think It would go great in a heff.

I use it in my american lagers. It works good as a clean bittering hop.
My next wit will have the Ace in it all so.
