Big grain buy

I just got a bunch of grain and then made a shelf out of scrape lumber for my specialty grains.

Spent all your money on containers and none left for L brackets. :lol:

Anyways it looks nice, as a carpenter you could measure the area bolow your shelf at a 45 degree angle and cut 2x4s at a 45 and get ride of those chains.(as long as you hit a stud with each peice) Space them like you did the ledgers which the shelf sits on and you could support alot weight.

I'm not much of a carpenter, but I can't do that, because of a fold down table thing right under the shelf. Kind of a weird setup, but what the hell. No pictures of the 2 50# bags either. At least it hasn't fallen off the wall :roll:

I see the hinges for what your talking about. Hey it was just suggestion. Either way what you have works, I cant argue with that. Ill toss you a pic as soon as my wife brings back the digital from work. I got a shelf thats holding atleast 300# of grain, buy big I say.
