Willamette Hops 47.5% AA!!!!!!

Fri Mar 30, 2007 12:45 pm

I ordered a pound of Willamette hops from Morebeer.com and I looked at the package. It was labeled 47.5% AA.

I thought, "oh my god!!! This can not be right." So I called the company. The lady on the phone was really friendly and said all of the labels were printed up wrong and they really are 4.5% AA.

Just an FYI if anyone else ordered some. Don't be shocked.

Looking back, I'm a little bummed though. My IPA would have rocked the world with Willamette flavor at 47.5% AA!!!

I'm going to have to cross breed some Willamette with Galena now.
