Victory Malt substitution for Jamil's Amber

Tue Mar 20, 2007 12:23 am

Hi all,

I want to brew Jamil's Amber Ale over the coming weekend and cannot find a source for Victory malt here in Oz. I want to know if anyone has any idea's of possible substitutions. It appears that the only British malts I can source are from Bairds in the UK.

Would Bairds Amber malt be a possibility ? The description on their web site sounds kinda sorta similar the the description I have for Victory.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

mex.
