I searched all over and I don't think this has been asked. Can I use a "corn flakes" type breakfast cereal in place of flaked corn or are there too many additives in the cereal?
Thanks

I think it's an issue of reading the label. If you see things other than corn that you don't recognize as words, I'd lean no. If the label doesn't look too scary then go for it, it's a valid experiement.

Try organics or whole foods sections.

You are so eloquent... have I told you that before?
YES
WHAT?
You CAN use corn flakes instead of flaked corn? Same potential?? They don't seem the same to me.

Yes you can use them...
same potential (?)
Several ppl have used breakfast cereals for their beers... If I remember correctly there is a club where this is a competition.
One of these ppl may have even been on one of the shows...

Good I think I may go buy a 50# bag of 2-row and do batches of 8# 2-row and 1# corn flakes as a summer lawnmower / friends over pool party beer. That will get me just over 6 batches. Cheap and Easy just the way I like her, I mean it. Thanks everyone.
