How long does gelatin take to work

So I crashed my Bier de Garde in my fridge about three days ago while I was waiting for my keg to get here. I cleaned and sanitized my keg. So, today I racked the beer into the keg and added gelatin. I am force carbing the keg. My question is, how long does the gelatin take to work? My kegerator tends to stay at about 38-40 if that makes a difference.

My beers are noticeable clearer within two days. And crystal clear in about 4-5 days.

I use gelatine in every batch. I usually give it 5 to 7 days. About the time it takes for your beer to carb. I usually dump the first 2 pints to clear the gunk from the bottom and it's crystal clear beer from there on out. You can also shorten your dip tube to avoid the crud at the bottom.
