Cascade, Centennial and Zeus Rhizome Crowns - Rocklin, CA

Wed Feb 27, 2013 2:45 pm

I have three 5-year-old hop plants - Cascade, Centennial and Zeus (a.k.a. Columbus or Tomahawk) - that I am looking to dig up. I don't think I have the time to deal with the upkeep and harvest this year. Rather than throw them away, I'd rather give the rhizome crowns to someone who can plant them and keep them growing. Compared to a normal rhizome cutting, these things will be big, like a root ball on a shrub. Because of that, I think they should take hold pretty quickly after re-planting. You should get a decent harvest the first year.

If anyone is interested, let me know. They're going to start sprouting soon, so it would be best to get them transferred ASAP.
