Has anyone tried Mosaic hops yet? I picked some up to go with my second attempt at 100% Brett beer.

I made an IPA with them and found them to be a lot like Simcoe...same dank and catty type of flavor and very aromatic...I mixed them with good ol cascade and centennial and it turned out great

with an all brett beer I would think about mixing them with fruitier hops to blend in with the tropical and fruit flavors coming from the brett

just my .02

Mosaic is a very very very American hop. Take Simcoe and multiply by five. Some will love it. I hate it. Smells and tastes like a litterbox.

What style of beer were you thinking of doing?

I don't know what style you would call it but here's the recipe.

4 Gallon Batch:
6# German Pilsner
3# White Wheat
1.5 oz Mosaic @ 10 min
WLP 644 Brettanomyces bruxellensis Trois

All times are UTC - 8 hours
