Columbus, OH area brewers FRESH HOPS

Sat Jul 21, 2012 6:52 pm

The LHBS is taking preorders on fresh hops to be direct shipped from Hop Union this fall as soon as they are picked. I've included the store notice below, they will not be cheap, but the shop isn't making much of a margin on this order, and outside of growing your own there isn't another way to get fresh hops like this...

If you are a homebrewer in Central Ohio and would like to put your name in for a pre-order on any of this, call or stop by Gentile's the Wine Sellers in Grandview BEFORE July 28th, 2012.

Gentiles is still selling homebrew supplies, cool. Don't live in Columbus anymore so have not been there since they moved from King St or something like that (maybe 1996).

Gentile's has always been on King Ave, but did have a second shop at one point. Homebrew supplies have ramped up quite a bit over the past few years, we HAVE to get a couple pallets every week... When I started it was every other week at least.
