Bamboo

Has anyone used it? I am thinking of throwing some in during the boil use it for bittering in an IPA.

I only use organic, locally grown bamboo in my IPAs.

lol. Spider you would love this bamboo then, it is growing on the edge of my yard. I am thinking of just making some bamboo tea and seeing how that taste and then trying it in a beer.

I figured this was a 4/1 joke... no idea what bamboo tastes like other than the bamboo shoots in Asian cooking, and that doesn't have any bitterness to it...
