Brewing With Flaked Rice

Hey,

I am trying to brew a lager from BCS, and the recipe calls for 2# of Flaked Rice. However I can't seem to find any flaked rice.

Should I look towards rice cereals? regular rice?

Also, should I just add it to the mash? Do I need to cook it first?

Thanks!

Flaked can go right in the mash, if you end up needing to use regular cooking rice you'd want to cereal mash it.

Should I be able to find flaked rice at the grocery store? Is there anything I'll need to avoid?

Minute rice will work in the mash just like flaked rice. Minute rice is allready gelatinized thats why it cooks so fast.
